General Policies and Information
The Black Knight Inn welcomes you and your
guests. As you are planning your
conference or meeting, please review the
following guidelines, keeping in mind that
our catering staff is here to serve you,
to see that your function is a success.
Upon booking, a contract will be issued to
you outlining the details for your
function.
Guest Rooms
If required, a block booking for your
conference will be held until 30 days
prior to the arrival date. At this time,
any rooms remaining in the block would be
released back to the hotel. Further
reservations after this date would be
accepted as space is available.
Menu Selection
Your choice of menu, as well as specific
arrangements for bar and wine services,
should be confirmed at least 14 days prior
to your function. Our catering staff will
be happy to work with you to select a menu
that would be most suitable, or
custom-design a menu to meet the specific
needs of your guests as well as your
budget.
Menu Prices
Prices as shown in the menu sheets are
guaranteed for 90 days. After this period,
prices are subject to change. As indicated
on the menus, all food and beverage
services are subject to gratuity charges,
and G.S.T.

Final Guarantee
For any meal service, a final guaranteed
number of guests is required a minimum of
48 hours prior to the function. The
convener agrees to pay for this guaranteed
number of meals, or the actual number of
meals served, whichever is greater.
Audio/Visual Equipment
Should you require audio/visual equipment,
be sure to inform our catering staff of
your specific needs, so arrangements can
be made accordingly. While you may bring
in the equipment you require, we have the
resources to provide you with up-to-date
equipment and trained personnel to ensure
your meeting runs smoothly and
efficiently.
Cancellation
Balance of payment is due upon completion
of the function. Arrangements may be made
in advance to have your company invoiced.
The catering manager will provide you with
a credit application, if you wish to make
these arrangements.

Decoration Policies
The use of candles and confetti is
strictly prohibited. Decorations may be
put up with small pins or thumb tacks; the
use of tape is not permitted. The convener
is responsible for the removal of all
decorations after the completion of the
function.
